ACEG Signed the Contract with the Sierra Leone Government for the Chinese-aided Hospital Project

On 27 February 2009, Mr. Chengjin, Vice General Manager and General Engineer from Overseas Development Company ACEG, went to Sierra Leone together with his parties and signed the Contract for the aided hospital project with the Sierra Leone representative in the office building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone. Mr. Wang Haitao, the Chinese Counselor to Sierra Leone, Secretary Mr. Zhang Peng, Secretary Mr. Cai Yue from the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office and Ms. Banggula, the Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone and other 4 members of delegation of Sierra Leone attended the signing ceremony.
In the ceremony, Foreign Minister Tanggula extended her welcome to the officials present and also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to China for this aided hospital. She also committed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone, as the leader accepting the Chinese-aided hospital project, would cooperate closely with Chinese side and exert to master the technical measures and working procedures used by the Chinese side and provide an all-around and 24-hour service.
Mr. Cheng Jin extended his thanks to Foreign Minister Mz. Banggula and relevant parties for the efforts that they had taken for the signing this contract and also for the service and help that they would provide for Chinese side during the period of construction. He said ACEG had successfully completed the Chinese Embassy building and the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s building in Sierra Leone and had accumulated abundant knowledge about the construction environment, conditions and standards in Sierra Leone. ACEG would strictly abide by the contract and we were very confident that we could complete the aided hospital with high quality at the highest pace and benefit the people of Sierra Leone as early as possible.
